*Sketch done by a friend. Inked and Colored by Me.
Would love some criticism and feedback. Even some pointers if you have any.

Process:
uploaded sketch into Photoshop, used tablet to ink the outline, put outline into Illustrator, vectorized outline, used pen tool shapes to color in the character.

your process is amiss. why ink the outline in photoshop and vector the outline again when you can do all that in AI? saves half the time.

I just haven't really practiced enough in either. I happened to start this in Photoshop and love the idea of vectors for resizing purposes. Also i've read a lot that the wacom tablets seem to have a better feel in Photoshop but I'm sure that's all personal preference.

there is some kind of truth to the brushes in AI being sucky than in Photoshop. I strictly work using AI. Just dumbfounded you go through all that process when you can just do everything in AI. ;)

I appreciate the comment. I'm gonna try and do one fully in AI next time and see how it goes. I'm still very new and trying to find my own niche.
