    awesome type, it is pretty close, but it is a common sort of type. You can tell he knows what he is doing with type and not just ripping something he thought was cool

    Exactly. Drew definitely has the chops to not need to rip someone else. He has a crazy awesome typography portfolio, I'd chalk this one up to coincidence.
