This is great. Has a very surreal feel to it. I kind of wish, however that there was a slight hint of texture on the skull itself. Just bone-like divots, holes, little scratches etc. Really digging the composition overall.

really nice, you should work on defining the shape of the tree so your lovely linework doesnt get killed by the texture.

Yeah rather than just laying a texture over it, make the texture by hand as it is appropriate to the image. Follow the contour, make the surface feel like it's bone, wood, whatever. Then you totally forgo the photoshopped look and it's 100% original and you move to the next level.

Concept and executuon are great though.
