Something about the nose doesn't seem right, maybe a skull nose would do the trick better. Also, the rectangular shape throws off the "concept", nothing splatters rectangularly. Your lineworks not bad, and the jaws actually pretty cool, but the rest of it falls flat.

loving the mouth and light source, yeah the nose is a little funky in comparison to the awesome gooey face ya got going on here. Should be a quick fix! awesome!
