5 years ago, I launched Electric Zombie. Something based on patience and spite. Being held back and giving the finger to those who doubted me, who didn't believe in me. I remember sitting in my room, folding, bagging all the shirts. Putting up a black sheet with a construction light and taking the photos while watching movies, me and my two hands, to your door. I am truly grateful for the growth of this brand, my little stupid brain child and how 5 years later, I am able to share my ideas, my retarded thoughts, and even type this blog. 5 years later, I plan on returning to those first steps, with something different, something special. This is a very special box set. I asked friend and first ever hired artist, Horsebites, to create a tee based off one of my favorite movies, Creepshow. He has been with my brand since the start, and continues to do work for Electric Zombie today. So it only made sense to have him work on something for this limited edition release. I designed a shirt for New Found Glory, that didn't get used. I loved the concept so much I used it for myself. The back of the design as a tally for 5. It's pretty impressive, so see up close.Or in the dark, DID I MENTION IT GLOWS IN THE DARK!?!
Each shirt will have it's own sticker hang tag, as well as printed tags and hem tag at the bottom. Both shirts will come sealed in custom screen printed paper with a seal sticker and placed inside a custom printed / designed box. Inside this box will be an 12x12 screen print poster of the Creepshow based design, a 11 inch ecto logo sticker, pins/buttons, ballons. Each box with come with a hand written note from myself, the CUSTOM box will be signed and numbered. I will also be shipping these out myself. There will be no merch now, no middle man, just me 100%. For 3 weeks this preorder will be up, and the goods will be ordered. So it will be most likely January 7th until they are shipped out. It is really hard to be 100% sure and say that will be the for sure ship date, as there are many pieces to this mega puzzle. I will keep everyone up to date and current with the shipping. It seems like a good solid guestimation to when it will go out. All countries are eligible. In these boxes I will be placing in random items and prizes, such as free shirts, 25% off coupon codes, the original artwork used in the making of this box signed, movies, toys, and a mega box i have been throwing random things into for the past year, that contains, movies, stickers, samples, you name it, it's in there.
I am beyond excited to be able to do this and I have been planning it for some time now. It feels awesome to be hands on once again and give thanks to all my fans and loyal customers. It really means a lot and I am extremely proud that Electric Zombie has come this far and has 5 years under mine/our belt. On top of the box set, I put all t-shirts on sale for $12.02, that is only until Monday Morning. This is the cheapest I have ever marked regular, non final print shirts, down to. Remember sale for 24 hours. 3 weeks on the preorder for the box set. If you have any questions you can reach out via facebook and twitter.
