Hey everyone,

Long time lurker, just launched a line with designs by barbarmoneky. Was hoping to get some insight to what everyone thinks.

my 2 cents: the designs aren't bad, just not very memorable. confused as to who your customer is. just someone that likes shirts/design?

Not too bad for a new line. You have a memorable name and theme, but I feel like hunny is misspelled. Your website is pretty easy to navigate, which is good, but it seems unnecessary to have a Home page and an All Products page that are the same. As for the designs, they could be a bit more exciting and memorable. The crest design is probably the best. I think the v-necks should have a close up product shot of the designs, since the design is pretty small on the shirt.

I'm not really a fan of the "soft launch" especially out of the gate, You want to make a strong first impression. Definitely should have put together a look book of sorts or at least some lifestyle photos to kind of set a stage for the viewer to give them and idea what your target demographic is. I even went to the about section and blog in hopes of seeing some of your friends or something wearing the stuff. No dice.

Maybe I'm asking a moronic question, but why isn't it "Blood&HONEY" since you do indeed go along with the whole honey ladle imagery? Is there some sort of inside joke or theme I'm missing here that uses some play on words?

    Are you using dtg?

Agreed with this. Designs are kinda cool but don't know the target audience really.

Putting together a look book is definitely in the works. Hopefully this will line up my target audience better, but really I was hoping anyone who saw the designs would like to buy them on their own merit.

Just removed the "All products" page

I originally did have Blood & Honey, but the domain was not available and changed it to Hunny.

    I'm not using DTG.

    Thanks everyone for your input.

Nerdy but classy is the winner of the bunch.

Yeah! I can't even find the word Hunny on dictionary.com. That means its not a word! How are you even supposed to pronounce it?!

I really like the pirate bear design.

Eh...I see what you did there, but had nothing to do with my comment at all. Was more wondering why, when given the option(considering the theme used), he chose to not use honey. He answered, which is fine. It reminded me of several brands in recent months who have been selling rip-offs(botched names and/or typo work on shirts).
