Well guys it's finally here! It's been another long wait and I've been dying to show this stuff off for months and months now. I definitely feel like this is some of the raddest stuff to ever come from 8BZ and I think you guys will agree. The centerpiece of all of this awesomeness definitely being the lunchbox. It was a long hard road getting those made and I almost gave up but I'm so glad I didn't. They turned out better than I even imagined and I still can't help but smile when I hold one in my hands. Such a perfect throw back to the 80's in every way.

With this release I wanted to do a mash-up of all things 80's rather than focusing on just games or just movies. And I think we did a pretty good job on that! Did a few packaging parodies and those turned out so amazingly good. Matt Skiff and I also created out very own MOTU character/toy. THRASHOR is one of my all time favorite things.

I also decided to start a "Kids Club" of sorts. The lunchbox/shirt/patches are the first of many exclusive and limited 8BZ Kids Club items to come. I'm excited to go further with this idea in the near future and make it even more fun for the die-hard fans.

Another fun thing I did this year was putting embroidered patches on some of my hats. They all turned out so amazing. Specifically the Madballs and Robocop hats. And I'm going to be doing this more from now on. Looks so rad!

HUGE thanks as always to all my artists. I couldn't have done any of this without Matt Skiff, Pitchgrim, SKUMMIE, Chad Manzo, AtomicChild, Cutty Bage, Gaunty, Johnny Crap, Michael Shantz and Cryface. Best people in the world to work with.

Oh and if you want a lunchbox, better act fast! They are super limited, Sadly, no one even makes plastic lumchboxes any more. So once they are gone, THEY ARE GONE.

I think the madball logo could have been recreated a bit better
seeing how its just house of terror font

overall its great and youd be stupid to not turn those GPK thumbnails into hang tags for the shirts

Wow, amazing stuff. Spoilt for choice, everything is just so good, I see a lot of 8-bit fans banging their heads just picking what to buy. I know I am. Too too awesome, congrats dude! I agree with Kyle on the GPK hang thumbnail tags, that would be outta this world. Great stuff Ross, and super job to all the artists involved too!

Can't tell you how good it feels to get all of this stuff out there finally. And so happy that you guys dig it.

Kyle - There's a ton of stuff I want to do with the GPK cards. I'm so bad at doing all the little detail stuff with shirts but that would be a fantastic idea. =)

So damn cool. Always gives me the vibe that you are doing what you love and releasing things you really enjoy. Doesnt come off cheap/cliche or uninspired like some brands do when they try to do random designs from their childhood etc.

8bz always seems genuine in the approach and how things are handled.

Also Ross, from lurking your FB page and even this forum, you are one of the nicest dudes to people/fans. Even if i couldnt pull off half this stuff, i really appreciate it and respect it.

I still think your website is one of my favorites ever also.

Awwwww shucks. That really means a lot man. I really do love doing this. And I'm glad that shows. I definitely don't want to look like I'm just wringing the juice out of the 80's for profit. I've been obsessed with this stuff....well...since the 80's! Hahah. The day I stop getting excited about 8BZ and stop coming up with new ideas is the day I throw in the towel. I am always conscious of how my designs will come off and I do try my best to come up with original concepts. I can't take all the credit though as I have been lucky to surround myself with artists who love this stuff as much as I do. Their enthusiasm and passion for this stuff is just as strong as mine. The level of the artwork in this release was just amazing and I think a lot of that is due to the artists really being excited to work on everything.

And thanks for the kind words. I do try to make people happy. I'm honestly not the best at responding to everyone on the social sites (haha) but I do believe that a little kindness goes a LONG way.

Anyway, talk amongst yourselves. I'm feeling a little verklempt.

A lot of great stuff as always. As Kyle mentioned there were a few I felt were lacking a bit (mainly excite) but I think as a whole it kicks ass. The whole line concept is really good and I love the lunch box (fuck!) and the Ghosts N Gobs. Great work!
