Steps taken before printing a shirt. [Question]
Posted July 18th, 2012 by nermin
Hi Mintees, first I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Nermin and I've been going on Emptees and Mintees for quite some time now without actually registering myself. I love all of the work put onto this website and I've been doing some designs myself.
After a design is finished what steps do you take before sending it off to the screen printing company?
Is there anything you do in AI to make the design higher quality or do you have any small tips you can share with me from past experiences.
Thanks guys!

If you want to save the printer a headache, make sure that all colors that are the same color are the EXACT same shade. That way they can just select one color using the selection tool and assign it to its own film super quick.
As far as quality goes, that's the beautiful thing about illustrator, it's always going to be sharp and print ready.
