Any particular reason? ways to improve etc?
  • Matt Borchert

What's the connection between underachievers and Hendrix, Cash, Cobain, and Tyson (also why is Mike Tyson in a list of music legends?).

Also the image of the skull faced dude on the front page is just creepy and I don't see how it relates to anything.
  • ImViolent

The logo's are hard to read because of the textures.
  • ImViolent

I'd redo your facebook page and make it more visually appealing. If you want some ideas email me violentsupplyco@gmail.com

I'm not a fan of the Fairly 92 logo thingy with the crocodile/snake skin texture. Just looks a bit weird.

The name is kinda witty. I think I like it. It's pretty long though..

The round logo. I read it as SFU not FSU.

    I like the pigeon t-shirt.

Did you design all the shirts yourself? It looks like 3 or 4 different designers with different skill levels have all made contributions. There doesn't seem to be any consistency..I dunno.
  • Craig Robson

no consistency and i will always think its Fuck Shit Up clothing.
  • Sam Weinberg

Like everyone else said, no consistency. There are three elements of your brand that have absolutely no relation to each other - the name, the products, and what the brand is about. Unless I'm missing something, music legends and pigeons have nothing to do with eachother.
  • mikelopez

Anything FSU seems like a difficult sell. There's so many freaking FSU acronym definitions.
  • Jason Carne

The brand name is really bad - who wants to be an underachiever and "fairly stylish"? Also yeah, FSU is a bad acronym to associate yourself between it being a major university, a gang, etc - you're going to come up way low on search results.

I know the pigeon is in relation to Mike Tyson...but then I'm back to what the hell does Mike Tyson have to do with anything.

I think you should consider a name change. All of this feedback is more about your name then actual products.
  • Yellowdog

I quite like your pigeon tees. What method was used to print these?

Looks like a standard screen print...the plastisol ink looks rubber based.
  • lonelykidsclub

You guys seem to have a strong fan base locally. If there's a demand for what you're doing the keep on doing your thing.
  • Jake DL

Fairly Stylish Underachievers has to be the dumbest name for a brand i've ever heard
  • Pavel Fisher

Worst brand description ever, seriously, who wants to be an "underachiever"? is it a brand for YOLO people right?
  • fsuclothing

    Thanks for all your replies.

@Matt borchert, the mentioned celebrities aren't underachievers, the beginning speech is tongue in cheek saying if there's all these naturals or people that are willing to work so hard to achieve what they want, stop competing and just underachieve. To all those mentioning fuckshitup, that was the original name but it got bad feedback so i had to think of something else that fitted into fsu as i already had stuff printed, and we're a small start up.

@yellowdog Vinyl Heat press was the printing technique

The comments about the lack of consistency are useful to point out thankyou, the reasoning for this is we originally started out with the idea of photographic tees etc. but the people who tended to buy these wanted an allsaints-esque fit we just couldn't deliver so we went down a different route. We are now only using one head designer and are planning a rework of the site to make things fit. As for a name change, i have considered it numerous times, the only things holding me back are our strong local fan base and the fact that its hard to establish and move fans across on facebook. Thanks for all taking time to comment.

Terrible name and acronym. If you ever want your business to really grow, a name change is in order.
