I feel like on lifehacker they showed you how to take an old laptop that you would feel comfortable converting, and showed how to make your own tablet out of it. I cant find it right now

Looks good but I'm afraid the price is going to be insane, small runs of specialized hardware has never been cheap.

yeah biggest problem to me is price. if a macbook pro is running already over 2k, and this costs a couple hundred, just doesn't seem worth it. it seems like a downgrade to your current macbook pro. if apple made these (they wouldn't any time soon, just saying), they would cost less than a macbook pro laptop i'm sure.

My gear right here! Its a little old but still is a workhorse. Not too expensive either! Just my .02.
