SCREEN PRINTS / GALLERY

yo! a friend of mine is setting up a static gallery and is looking to feature screen printed artwork of varying types by artists who have an interest in this medium. i have told him i would gauge the interest of this community and see how many would have work available to send if interested.

aside from a few people ive already flagged up for him to email if you can leave an example of something youd like to exhibit and an email address to be contacted on in this thread it would be great.

to begin with it would be on a sale or return basis for a fixed period (ie: if it doesnt sell in X months it would be sent back to you) with the view of buying wholesale once its up and running. the gallery space is in an incredible location and perfect for both lowbrow and high end prints.

nothing is fixed for sure at the moment but im putting feelers out there regardless.

I'd be interested as I've been looking for a reason to get back into screen printing. What kind of art is your friend looking for?

Is he looking for any particular styles to fit the show? I know some people who may be interested.

Sweet! Whereabouts is it? I did quite a bit of screen printing just before I left college this year. Got quite into it in the end, sad to leave.

I was looking forward to screenadelica, saw your name on one of the flyers for it I think, but that weekend just completely flew past me.

the weekend was incredible, shoulda come down for sure, i think my brother and i served up rum to everyone who came in the door. dirty weekend!

Ohhhhh now you're making me sad. Damn.

I do have a few prints, but they're really small runs, I was just messing around in the studio in college, like no more than 3 for some, only 1 of others, is that too little?

Theyre quite big too, A2 prints on A1 paper.

size of run and size of artwork isnt important, what IS important is if we can see it to make a decision.

Nick from Uniform? if so no, i dont know him personally, just know of him being in liverpool and all.

Oh right, he was my tutor two years ago in college and heard he was really into screen printing around liverpool.
