Oswald Summer Release
Posted June 1st, 2012 by threadskull
I run a T-shirt Blog called Threadskull which is dedicated to supporting indie T-shirt companies in any way I can.
I also have run Oswald Clothing for the past 6 years, and it's been a passion of mine for the same amount of time. Oswald is run solely on my own blood, sweat and tears, and if you know me, you know it's my life's work.
I am releasing my new summer line on June 5th. I am adding 19 new designs to my already overflowing catalog. What makes this significant, is that I have not only added tank tops to this line, but for the first time ever, every shirt in my line is now available in Black. This might not seem like that big of a deal but for me and my fans, it is.
In the past, I have outsourced all my printing, and since I have such a large catalog, bulk printing is just not an option for my budget. So, this is why I have always printed one-off Direct to Garment.
I hate white shirts, and so do my customers. So, getting to the point of all of this, I have invested money into my own DTG printer, and am now printing everything in-house, and can do blacks.
This is huge for me, and it's very exciting to be able to release a whole new Summer Line, and offer Blacks as well. But that's not all...
In conjunction with this, I am also launching on the same day, a brand new Fight Gear line called "Ares: God of War", which will be a sister brand of Oswald.
I don't really make a habit of posting stuff like this, but this is a big deal for me, so I just wanted to share with everyone. I just posted all the images of the 2 new releases on the Oswald site, so if anyone wants to give me some critiques, I'd love the input.
I've attached the official press release here, should anyone feel inclined to help a brotha out with a repost or anything.
Thanks so much for reading!

also, i'd completely rework your press release. the tone of it sounds like an infomercial.
i think you have something, i just think you should simplify it.
