Finnnnaaallllllyyy. I feel like it's been forever since this line has been in the works, but it's finally here. Consisting of 6 tank tops, 27 shirts, A baseball shirt, 5 hoodies, a new barf bag series, socks, a varsity jacket, and yes, even pajamas.

Loads of work and ideas went into this line. I wanted to mix up a little something for everyone. This line, is the most i think I have ever done artistic wise personally, of all time.

With my pieces I wanted to focus on the brand name. Believe it or not but this is Electric Zombie's 5th year as a brand come December. I figured, that now is the time to do some name based designs as it really has a meaning and a following. For me, it was all about branding. The name, the colors, the initials. I just wanted to give something back to the people who have supported me and my artwork for the brand and bands that they could respect and be proud to wear, and even proud to make. In the process, I was able to create a new logo , (again, I know I know), but a little too late. It looks like EZ will have 2 logos, as I have a lot of materials floating around with the update from last year. Including the new EZ CREEP FEET (Socks) and all the tags for the shirts. Did I say tags? Yes I did! I thought it was time to step it up with the branding and professionalism of the brand. I know it's something a lot of brands are doing, thanks to good ol' Johnny Cupcakes. But now all the new pieces will have a little tab tag at the bottom featuring the logo, and maybe a little somethin' somethin' on the flip side. I thought about doing neck tags, or printed neck tags. But honestly, I felt like it was a hugeeee waste of time and labor. I hate the feeling of a tag flapping around on my neck/shoulder area and with a printed tag, I wouldn't be able to put on the new HANG TAGS either (holy shhhhhheeeeyyaatttatattttt hang tags too?!). I hateeeee putting a hole in anything, so neck and arm hang-age is out of the question.

I cut back on the spoof shirts, but, I went hard with the ones I did. Of courseeee, I had to do a Freddy and Jason shirt. I know I will be getting some CRAP about how the Jason shirt, looks like a poster for THE BURNING. But I assure you that wasn't the intention. About a year or so ago, an awesome design group who comes out with awesome gig posters and screen prints did 2 horror based pieces, and they sold out before I could snag them. But I saved the images, as I thought they were really clever and really inspirational.



When sending off the direction to the artist I had working on it, they were a bit confused about the positioning and stature of this piece was going to work. So I sent over the poster for The Burning so they could kind of see how I wanted it to look with the trees, as well as the poster for Jason Takes Manhattan. So take those 4 things and you have this piece.




Just thought I would clear that up, before any more Kyle hate mail and finger pointing comes my way.

Let's get to the pajamas! Something I've been wanting to do for a long long time. In fact, after the Vile-ator and Cujo shirts came out, I was like "Fuckkk these look like old school little boy PJ shirts." I knew I should have made them at the time, but a little less than a year later, here we are! These are super super comfy and they look great too. The new Varsity is something I have been wanting to do for a while. I made custom embossed embroidery Lettering just for this jacket and maybe for a little something else later on. WHO KNOWS!? The only bummer is that this had to be dumbed down for it to be embroidered properly. But, there will be a hang tag with the original version. So it's not a complete waste in usage.



Speaking of the new logo, I thought it would be perfect to incorporate into a new site, which I am proud to say is my favorite (besides the awesome video collage segment background from way back in the day) site to date. It's perfect and clean and fresh. I updated the bio and even brought back the "EZ Army" sorta kinda, haha. I also wanted to do something new with the look book, which both Adam Elmakias and I both demolished. I wanted something that focused on the colors of the shirts, the designs and the people behind the face of the brand. Each photo is textured and treated differently and each photo really has a personality of it's own. What also makes the for me is the background. It's a collage of a bunch of pieces released by EZ, over it's 5 year span. I plan on doing something awesome with said background very soon. In fact I already have something else brewing, and if you're smart and catch onto things easily, you'll be able to figure out when that will be!

Also, since it issss the 13th and it isssss the 13th line for Electric Zombie. I went ahead and put all the old shirt designs up for $13 for the next 13 days. Loadssss of product have been restocked after the massive March Now sale. So pick up some oldies while you pick up some new goodies!

Once Again I want to thank Horse Bites, Felix, Adam, Justin, Mr. Quigglemeister, Skiff, Nils, Mr.Mumford, and Joshy Poo, for helping me launch this bad boy. I also want to thank, the Merch Now crew and Ian, Curt, Steve, and Deb for sewing on a million tags. but most importantly, I want to thank you guys for being such awesome and loyal fans. Without the ongoing support and loving my thoughts, ideas and whackiness, and sometimes (ok, all the time) rudeness and meaness, I couldn't put out such retarded shit without you!
