There's not many Irish people on here (or maybe any other then me?)but I'll put this up none the less. The Blind Tiger Collective is a group of 10 Irish Streetwear Brands, including S&D. We're opening a pop-up shop together where everyone will have equal shelf space/rail space. The store is open in the Little Green St Gallery (off Capel St) in Dublin and will run from the 20th to the 24th of December with a bar and DJ's every night! You can find out more via facebook http://www.facebook.com/blindtigercollective

Sounds like a really good idea man. Hope all goes well.

Should be more of this. Small brands coming together can gain some power and influence. Our US section would be stoked to do something like this in Portland.

I have teamed up with another brand for a few shows(gigs) starting in December and should be running right through next year but there are a lot of flakey ass brands out there so finding the right ones to put your faith in are hard to come by!

We want to open a shop on the Asbury Boardwalk in NJ. Obey just threw up a bunch of murals on there, but there is no store. And I hear people all the time talk about what that is and people personally ask me what it is.

I always thought there should be more actual stores like that. As opposed to a pop-up shop. Just a shared store amongst like five different brands.

sounds awesome bro! best of luck with it.

there was something being set up for a few select UK brands (invite only) but fell through at the last hurdle. apparently though it'll happen next year.

i take it there will be pics and stuff of the event?

Sounds like a great idea, hope it goes well!

I'll take photos. I'd like to take part in as many of these as possible. The collective is hopefully going to get involved in stuff like bulk buying of blanks etc and distribution for the brands throughout Ireland. Collectives could be the way forward!!

Also I'll be living in London from January. So any UK brands who want to give something like this a go, drop me a line cian@swallowsndaggers.com

Cant wait for this! Im bringing my press & dryer to it. Gona be printing shirts in the middle of a launch party, drunk probably. Im sure anything that can go wrong will go wrong (My biggest fear is the place wont be able to handle the power needed to run the dryer, flash cure & a pa system for the DJ) but should be a laugh anyway & a good chance to meet some of my customers for the first time in real life.

Its a really good idea & im excited to see how it turns out.

I'm in the middle right now of planning to do a pop up shop/ brand collective in Denver. I have a few locations that want to do it and a few brands that are very unique and different from one another. Everything from my random ass shit to hipster stuff and to street/urban wear. I think going the collective way is a great idea and exposes people to every kind of brand instead of just the one brand they keep themselves in.
