1 DAY LEFT! SEIBEI Kickstarter, with Chad Manzo, Bryan Lee O'Malley, Ashley Davis, and more!
Posted August 25th, 2011 by davidSEIBEI
So, as some of you know, in July my van and the bulk of my t-shirt stock was stolen. Almost two weeks ago, I launched a Kickstarter to basically put a bunch of new tees + SEIBEI classic up for preorder so I could restock in time for New York Comic Con.
Much to my surprise, the SEIBEI Kickstarter reached its funding goal within the first 48 hours. Some of you reading this were some of the first backers, and I can't thank you enough. The whole experience has been overwhelming, and I've been amazed by the kindness of friends, longtime customers, and complete strangers alike.
We've now passed 180%, and now that I'll definitely be able to restock and get back on my feet, I'm not posting on Mintees because I need help - I'm posting because there are some good SEIBEI pieces to be had on the preorder cheap, and some rad Kickstarter exclusives by my friends Ashley Davis and Bryan Lee O'Malley (the creator of Scott Pilgrim, amongst other things) that will never be printed again:

There should also be one more guest tee premiering by another fucking rad artist.
Certainly not as well-priced as some of the Back To School sales going on, but people still seem to like it. Check out the SEIBEI Kickstarter here!

Congrats David!
Always been a huge fan of your stuff.

Cole - thanks so much, man. I've been meaning to do a baby/kids line for years (since most of my stuff is more kids' humor anyway); it's gonna be good to get that shit out there!

Thanks Marshall! Dude, I have been bumping Run It Up The Flagpole pretty much once a day at work lately, by the way.

We've blasted to 261% of the goal, which is amazing and so unexpected - if you wanna get yourself some Kickstarter exclusives like this heater by Chad Manzo, or other awesome artists, or some rad tees by me for a great price, check out the SEIBEI KICKSTARTER!

I really hope that the final outcome of this is life changing for you and of course wish you the best of luck in future.

I think this will be pretty life-changing if everything goes according to plan. Once me and my friends ship everything out, I'm taking whatever else I can afford to print to NY Comic Con, and after I come home and do reprints, I'm sending the bulk of my stock to a fulfillment service to keep everything running smoothly as I grow. Shipping stuff in a timely fashion and managing inventory have always been my weak points (simply because I'm just one dude, who also has a day job), so it should be great to finally have a team of people handling that stuff after years of doing it myself.
