Totally bummed out by it, was listening to crisis before I read it. I was there for their live album shows, only time I saw dallas out sang was the Birmingham live album show with Saosin.
Being Canadian, this upsets me greatly. Dallas has been putting on a lot of free shows locally around where I live. I do love his solo stuff, and he played a big part of AOF. To me, he was the "balance" the "ying" to the "yang"
Gutted! They've made the right decision though. They really wouldn't be the same band without Dallas. Like DRTYAPPAREL said, he was the ying to the yang. I suspect City and Colours rise had a lot to do with this.
I was never able to really get into these guys. Played a few shows with them way way back in the day but it never stuck with me beyond a 1-2 songs off of the album with the bird on it.

Exactly! I just read the link article and I didn't realize that City And Colour was spawned from one of its members. Silly me.
