Scan your scanners

This is Craig Robson's ( http://mintees.com/people/11020-craig-robson ) idea I just wanted to get this going.

Scan your scanner empty and post a link to the high res file. This thread can be a resource for free textures from all of our empty scanner beds.

post a pick of your scan in the thread and a link to the high res file.

adjust the contrast...I also had to use a piece of paper on top of mine because I lost the cover years ago

we use it for paper work as well so it gets some use about three years old. works great and cuts down on adding texture later. jk

Aw man, I tried mine, messed with the levels and everything and it came out spotless. We keep things too clean around here =(

play with your levels/exposure and scan at the darkest settings possible.

As soon as mine works again I'll throw mine in. My scanner has some pretty deep scratches on it.

if you go to where robot tiger has quoted me and "view image" on the bottom image that should go right to a different version, my dropbox is WERKIN though. so try again?
