So we are switching to capillary films. Doing away with are scoop emulsion and i was just wondering how many have made this change and if it was worth while or if there are any brands you would recommend or for that matter you know suck ass.
There is a good amount of info going both ways pros and cons so would love to hear some opinion on this little variable which can bring a job to a screeching halt.

Ulano QT for plastisol. Ulano QSR for wb inks. These give fast exposure times.
You'll also need a few thickness too. The thicknesses to have on hand are 30 micron and 50 micron.
Buy the 26"X300" rolls for economy and you can cut what you need.

i bought 14x17 sheets 38 microns to try out to see if i like them. we were looking to use the roll on method. do you roll on or squeegee on.

Roll. You don't want the cap film mashed into the mesh. You want to lay it on top. What manufacturer did you buy?
Between the mesh and cap film selection, I like that I can have more control over the ink deposit.

i got a brand called dura-cap i figured i would buy a roll once i had a understanding of thicknesses. i use ulano now for scoop emulsion and figure ill use it as films as well just wanted to try it with out paying as much to find out if i like it or not. if you dont mind me asking what is you dry time and do you still use your drying cabinet heater ive talked to couple people who said they were ready in 20 mins and i also heard a couple hours figured it was just different people doing their own thing.
