Greetings!
My names David Sparks, I'm from Memphis TN. Just thought I'd introduce myself. I had an emptees account but never used it and just found out about this site. Looks great! Anyway, like many of you I'm hoping to get my own clothing line off the ground. Once a little money comes in from shirts hoping to do very limited run designer toys too. I was in a band and did all our merch and got the t-shirt bug then. wanted to start a line back then and had a local store ran by a friend that wanted to carry my designs but i didnt think there was a future in it so didnt start (dont listen to the people that tell you something cant be done). I now see it just takes hard work.
so hoping to join the community you guys already have going and contribute how i can.
I'm doing promo for my line right now and running a contest to give away 4 free shirts. Once I settle on designs to print I'll post them on this site for sure.
Wish i could print them all now, im going crazy staring at the designs i have and doing nothing with them. I have about 8 to 10 to pick from and i'm working on more ideas every day. Unfortunately the logic board on my old macbook pro went out and i had to buy a new laptop. Don't want to get anything printed till i pay that off but should only be a handful of weeks away.
I hate to make my first contribution to the forum and then hit everybody up to check out my promo site, but in case somebody was curious and wanted to check it out here it is

My style is very simple, minimalist and type focused. I'm also very inspired by NASA, space, and 50s-60s advertising/packaging design. So if any of that is your thing you might dig what i'll be putting out.
I'm also a front end web developer at an advertising agency so you'll probably find me in threads lending my web knowledge if it's needed.

Thanks Anthony, I definitely want to do it right or not do it at all. Go big or go home right? I'll be sure to post when I have things to share.
