I'm sorry but Drop Dead denim sucks.

I really want a pair of Cheap Monday jeans. They're like $60 each though, but I'm stuck to CCS which aren't that good anymore and I bought a pair of HT kind the other day which were eh, alright.

They're womens jeans that fit kinda loose on men but if you wear Drop Dead I seriously doubt you care what gender your jeans are made for

Definitely not indie but H&M, Zara or River Islands have affordable but nice looking jeans in all sorts of styles. Skinny, regular, etc.

You could try glamourkills.com, they sell denim.

electric zombie has some really awesome skinny jeans.

I have these..but the fitted version. which is a bit looser than a skinny ( I have big legs...so it's a skinny to me! ) I have basically been wearing them ALMOST everyday for about a year. Solid jean for the price in my opinion. This is not the same exact jean, mind you. The brand is Comune.
