New medically inspired clothing line
Posted May 23rd, 2011 by SirEuan
Hiya, I've been a member of emptees/mintees for a while, but never TOO involved until now. I am just wrapping up my final year studying graphic design in Dundee, Scotland and as one of my projects, designed a clothing line.

Type has taken on a medical theme and aesthetic, with vacuum packed tees and silver metallic mailers to keep things clean and sterile. I've taken it from a college project and turned it into a line with 6 tees and 1 risograph print. Hopefully I will develop this brand further, extending into more prints and more lifestyle products in the future.
Mintees and Emptees have been a great source of inspiration and research for me so I'm happy to offer the code 'MINTEES' for a 10% discount.

Thanks, I was totally inspired by brands that follow a niche, like johnny cupcakes obviously, but I didn't want to feel like I was stepping on anyones toes or regurgitating something that's been done before.
I felt medicine gave a lot of scope for packaging and graphic inspiration like the head diagram/infographic used in the first t-shirt shown.

Thanks, I was aware that this would be something to mess up quite easily, glad I didn't!
Cheers! I'd hope that's because I did all the artwork myself. I've done freelancing tshirt design in the past, kind of like my hand drawn type stuff, but I'm also a graphic design student where I do more controlled work. So I tried to draw on both for this line.
I package them up myself with a vacuum packing machine.

if you are enquiring about me packing some tshirt for you, I appreciate the offer but the packaging is something I put alot of research and trail/error into getting just right for my brand. It's not a service I really want to offer to other lines.
