Web app for screen printers
Posted February 12th, 2011 by bcackerman
I've ran a screen printing shop for a while now and there just isn't any good solution that centralizes everything that's going on. So I decided why not make a simple web app to handle
-Orders and the status of them (including art approval)
-Payments from customers (including invoicing)
-Customers info
-Basic accounting
Anywho, we'll be finished developing it in two months.

I bought a Rails book and learned to code it after bad experiences with developers.
Anyway, Printavo allows you to see a calendar of orders due for that month, create a customer, create an invoice, email it, request art approve, collect payment, see income & expenses and more.
I just pushed a huge update last night to allow you to create line item based invoices which gives us the tools to add anything you'd like on there. Check it out and let me know your thoughts.
