it's a really good idea there is a video on the site with all you need to know!

Yeah I use this for saving odd files when I'm at college, so handy! Anything I upload on the web goes straight to a folder on my hard drive and vice versa.
Saves carrying around memory sticks all the time!

Flux Capacitor said: Seems very sketchy, even though they make it sound good. It means that the company has every access to every file you upload.

There's tons of online back-up companies, you know?

Yeah dropbox is legit. We use it at our office with sensitive data and nothing has ever happened.

FYI: I use it all the time to work on projects at uni. Set up a shared folder between you and all other parties, and you can save your files there. Every time someone modifies the file, it will update on everyone's computer. Dropbox also time stamps every version online, so when someone screws up, you can go download the last correct version.
