I've always wondered how collabs work more on a technical level.
Kindof just thinking out loud and hopefully someone can enlighten me.

If two companies do a collab is the cost of the product or item being produced split evenly? Or does one company buys from the one manufacturing at a wholesale or lower price?

Also if anyone has done collabs with other companies. Have you just worked with friends of companies or people you've actually have talked to or meet before. Or do people just contact someone that they like what they are doing and bring up the idea of a collab?

If anyone else has any information or ecperiance on this please share your knowledge!
